Who is Ari Sliffman?
The owner, mediator, and arbitrator for AJS Resolutions is Ari J. Sliffman, Esq., a dedicated dispute resolution professional serving clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ari hails from the DC suburbs of Maryland and has called Philadelphia, Pennsylvania home since 2013, after living in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Today, Ari lives in the City of Philadelphia with his wife and two sons.
Outside of his work as a mediator and arbitrator, Ari is an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Jersey Shore, camping, and hiking.
Education and Early Commitment to Alternative Dispute Resolution
Ari Sliffman has been practicing law since 2012 after graduating from the Marquette University School of Law. At Marquette, Ari was the first student to graduate with both a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and a Certificate in Sports Law. He won the law school’s brand protection writing competition with his published comment, Unconstitutional Hosting of the Super Bowl, and competed in numerous negotiation and mediation competitions at the local, regional, and national levels.
Ari further enhanced his skills in mediation and international arbitration by completing the ADR Center’s program on International Dispute Resolution in Milan, Italy, earning another certificate in ADR. Ari is currently completing Harvard University’s Program on Negotiation’s semester-long Mediation Course (to be completed December 2025).

Throughout his legal career, Ari has built a reputation as a true neutral, capable of understanding disputes from every angle. He has litigated cases as both a plaintiff’s attorney and defense attorney across Pennsylvania and New Jersey courts, giving him unique insight into how both sides approach conflict.
His legal practice included extensive experience with:
